As Little Thespians continues to expand we would like to welcome some new teachers on board.

Dancing...

Georgina Gibbard is our Dance and Drama Teacher at several of our Little Thespians branches. She has studied dance and drama since the age of 3 and is a member of the award-winning amateur youth theatre group, Stage One 2000 from age 8 – 17.
Georgina is a free lance dance and drama teacher, currently teaching at Wirral Theatre School, Neston Primary School and Clifton School of Dance + Performing Arts.
Georgina is an Associate of International Dance Teachers Association and Trinity Guildhall.  As well as teaching she finds the time to be both a dancer and choreographer for Big Dark Blue Productions.  Still performing she has stared in various productions + venues nationwide, including Her Majesty's Theatre, London and Miss Dance of Great Britain Finals, Leeds.

Emma Stokes is our dance teacher at the Bromborough and Neston group.
Emma trained at Merseyside Dance and Drama Centre on the Teaching and Musical Theatre course.  She is a qualified ISTD ballet teacher but also teaches a variety of styles from Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Ballroom and Latin American.
Emma has taken part in many productions with various dance schools and theatre groups, her latest role playing Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz in the Bindley Theatre, Runcorn.

 
 

Drama...

Louise Maddocks (Artistic Director)
Louise writes as well as teaching the Bebington group. Louise has written and performed at the BYTF run by NAYT in London. We are proud to announce Louise has been offered a place at the prestigious Central School of Speech and Drama.

Jessica Sloane is our Drama teacher at the Neston & Bromborough Theatre School. Jess was trained at Merseyside Dance & Drama Centre, where she took her LAMDA Drama Examinations as well as numerous dance ones. Jess enjoys performing as much as teaching and has played the leading lady in many top Theatres in Merseyside, including the Philharmonic Hall, Liverpool Empire and The Royal Court.


 

 

 

Singing...

Sarah Louise Sutton (Musical Director)
Sarah teaches singing at the Neston, Bromborough and Chester group, Sarah is a well known performer as well as a teacher. Trained at the Hammond School of Dance, Sarah was awarded her teachers Certificate of performance. Sarah fills her days teaching children at Primary schools in Cheshire as well adults in West Cheshire College; she is also choreographing 'Annie' for Chester Musicals (2007). Sarah also finds the time to perform herself; she has stared in many professional Musical Productions such as playing the part of ‘Princess Jasmine’ in ‘Aladdin’ at the both Lowry and Liverpool Empire Theatre. She recently played ‘Louise Bigelow’ in ‘Carousel’ at Chester Gateway Theatre and is currently the leading lady for a Las Vegas Touring Company 2007.

Dan Coleman is our singing coach for our group held in Queens Park High School, Chester.
Dan has spent the past 15 years as a Professional Performer, playing the lead roles in over 30 Musicals and Pantos in the North of England.  There are too many to mention, in Dans last two Musicals he played ‘Peter’ in ‘Jesus Christ Super Star’ and ‘Dodger’ in Oliver.  Dan has also worked in Television appearing on our screen in commercial adverts.
 More recently Dan has taken on the role of director and producer of several professional touring shows including Kaiad Productions who provide stunt shows for James Bond evenings and ‘The Fabulous Las Vegas Show’ which tours through out UK Theatres.  This year Dan is working with ‘The Professionals’ who tour through out the U.K and Europe.

Luke Gibbard
is our Singing and Musical Theatre coach at our Christleton group.
Luke is a professional performer; he is a trained as Actor, Singer, Dancer and in circus skills.  Luke has worked as a performing artist for well renowned companies in the UK for the past 10 years, including Madame Tussaudes (2004-2005), Sinah Warren Warner Holidays (2004-2005) Center Parks (2002-2003) and Walt Disney in Paris (1998 – 2002) where Luke stared as a character performer and parade dancer, unfortunately due to a signed secrecy contracted we can not disclose which famous characters Luke was!   However, we can tell you Luke also recorded a single of Disney in conjunction with the charity UNICEF.
Luke is currently working for Big Dark Blue Productions as a Professional Robbie Williams Tribute. 

Holly Deer
works as an assistant teacher at both Chester and Christleton Schools.  Holly has a BTEC National Diploma in Performing arts and works with the individual teachers to help support the students.

Beth Shields
is our Community Theatre specialist.  Beth teaches specialist workshops to the students at Little Thespians as we recognise the importance of devising community and issue based topics.  Beth is studied Community Theatre at LIPA. 

 

 

Charlie Shaw is the Principle of the Clutton and Huxley Little Thespians Branch
Charlie’s qualifications include a B.A. (Hons) degree in Performance Theatre and a BTEC National Diploma in Acting.  Charlie has plenty of experience in the world of theatre, she is an established actress who has played a variety of lead parts from ‘Electra’ in the Greek Tragedy ‘Electra’ to Margaret in Terry Pratchett’s ‘Weird Sisters’.  Charlie has made several TV appearances including ‘Hollyoaks in the City’ and TV Carex commercial for the BBC. Charlie has also directed Musical Theatre Show for NEWI University as well as being involved in Theatre in Education Projects, Charlie recently went our tour for six weeks with the theatre company ‘Titch’ where she performed in the show ‘1,2,3 Slosh’ this was an educational piece of theatre about the Weather.
